In 1999, Elite Hotels of Sweden acquired the hotel and is now operating two hotels in Malmö, Elite Hotel Residens and the nearby Elite Hotel Savoy. It is located in central Malmö just opposite the Central Station and within walking distance of the city´s cultural and entertainment offerings.
